Mortar and molded parts with thermal insulation properties

VATRAL® 150/650 Technical insulating mortar: specially developed for leveling uneven substrates, filling cavities and for mold construction.

VATRAL® 150/650 panels: for lightweight constructions with precisely fitting molded parts such as walls, ceilings, cold storage and furniture construction.

VATRAL® 150/650 pipe shells: for thermal insulation at high temperatures, designed with or without diffusion-tight lamination.

By combining molded parts and mortar, even complicated constructions can be insulated without thermal bridges.

  • Fire behavior: A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1:2019-05
  • Application temperature: ≤ 900 °C
  • Compressive strength: ≥ 0.3 MPa according to DIN EN 1015-11:2020-01
  • Dry bulk density: approx. 125 kg/m³
  • Chloride content: ≤ 0.01 % according to DIN EN 1015-17:2005-01

Vatral® 150/650 pipe shells can be continuously laminated with a 0.05 mm or 0.1 mm coarse-grain aluminum foil.

The mortar is ready to use. Before the

Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles. The information in the safety data sheet must be observed. Irritant effect in contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.

Drying times
The finished modeled parts harden at room temperature, but can also be hardened in ovens (pre-drying 50-70 °C, final drying 100-150 °C, drying times depend on the thickness). Insulation with layer thicknesses > 3 cm should always be installed in combination with pre-dried boards, segments etc. to reduce the drying time.
