Vatral® 125/150

Insulation system with fire & thermal insulation properties:

VATRAL® 125/150 mortar: specially developed for leveling uneven substrates, filling cavities and for mold construction.

VATRAL® 125/150 panels: for lightweight constructions with precisely fitting molded parts such as walls, ceilings, cold storage and furniture construction as well as sectional doors

VATRAL® 125/150 pipe shells: for thermal insulation at low temperatures, designed with or without diffusion-tight lamination.

By combining molded parts and mortar, even complicated constructions can be insulated without thermal bridges.

  • Fire behavior: A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1:2019-05
  • Application temperature: ≤ 180 °C
  • Compressive strength: ≥ 0.4 MPa according to DIN EN 1015-11:2020-01
  • Dry bulk density: approx. 125 kg/m³

Application examples

  • Panels for lightweight wall constructions
  • Sectional doors
  • Cold storage and furniture construction

Product information

areas of application

Vatral® 125/150 pipe shell is used for pipe insulation in shipbuilding and industry.
In combination with Vatral® 125/150 mortar, even complicated constructions can be insulated without thermal bridges.

Vatral® 125/150 board is used in structural construction. Can be used in walls, ceilings, cold storage and furniture construction. In combination with Vatral® 125/150 mortar, even complicated constructions can be insulated without thermal bridges.

processing

The mortar is ready to use. Mix slowly and carefully before use, do not dilute! It can be applied with a steel spatula. The substrate must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. The room temperature must not be below 5 °C during processing.
The mortar can be sanded, drilled and cut once it is completely dry.

The tubular shell can be ground, drilled, cut and laminated. Suitable cutting tools include: oscillating saw, electric saw or fox tail. Note dust formation.
With the use of
Vatral® 200 fire protection adhesive
Vatral® 125/150 pipe shells can be continuously laminated with a 0.05 mm or 0.1 mm coarse-grained aluminum foil.

instructions

Wear suitable protective gloves and safety goggles. The information in the safety data sheet must be observed. Irritant effect in contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.

Drying times
The finished modeled parts harden at room temperature, but can also be hardened in ovens (pre-drying 50-70 °C, final drying 100-150 °C, drying times depend on the insulation thickness). Insulation with layer thicknesses > 3 cm should be used to reduce the drying time.
always be carried out in combination with pre-dried panels, segments, etc.
